Adding an age filter! :)
Adding an age filter would greatly enhance the playing experience by ensuring better matchups in terms of intensity, skill level, and physicality. Currently, players of all ages join the same games, which can lead to mismatches—older players might struggle to keep up with high-intensity games dominated by younger athletes, while younger players might not enjoy a more relaxed pace. By allowing users to filter games based on age groups, the app would promote fairer, safer, and more enjoyable matches for everyone, reducing the risk of injury and frustration.

Game review text should not be shown to everyone
It could be against another player or host, that led to the poor review. So as in the app, the review (or at least the review text) must not be shown to other players of that game on the website as well.

Identify on the app when you’ve played with a player before
When signing up to a game it’d be good to see who you’ve already played with previously and how many times next to their name. Might give people an idea of how familiar the players will be, whether it will be all new people or a few familiar faces. Sometimes I find it hard to keep track of who’s who after playing a lot of games on different nights.

Make profile pictures clickable so you can enlarge
It’s hard to tell who’s who from the tiny app pics and would be good for learning names of regular playing partners / voting for potm / identifying no shows.

Leaderboards
Leaderboards of players (matches played, POTMs, reliability), filter on location, age etc.

Player stats post match
After the game or when reviewing, add personal player stats so you can keep track of your goals and assists (maybe saves). "Did you score today? If so how many?", "Any assists?". Then you can track this in your profile. Would be good to see how you're performing.

Have some games designated for veterans / over 35s
In locations with lots of games, could some games be designated as veterans / over 35. This would help attract older players who are put off by the thought of playing in games where the vast majority of players are half their age.

Get more women’s games
There are very few women’s games available to join in my area. And the ones that are there are always full. Could you add a new feature to see if there would be enough interest to start a new session.
Also on the mixed games it would be useful to see the gender of players to see if it will actually be a mixed game.

Play on the team you are told to by the host.
If you bring friends, how about you just let the host choose the teams instead of insisting you need to go on your friends team? You are not 5 years old after all.
Cliques develop otherwise and make the game horrendous for those having to go on that particular team.

Contract
We can do a contract like maybe £24 per month for as unlimited amount of football games as you want to participate in or Pay a yearly amount of £200.

App improvements
It might just be me, but I find it almost impossible to search for games and venues based on a location using the search functionality. It always just returns a set of games based on a perceived, innaccurate location that must be set somewhere in the app, but which I can't seem to change.
If it's obvious and I've missed it then the UX/UI needs an update to be easier to use.
Although this is a dramatic improvement from the pre-pando stuation.

Portrait Profile Picture Mandatory
It's very hard to find a mate, vote for MOM, mark no shows and etc... when you can describe who's who under people's profile. Ideally a standard profile pic would be beneficial I believe.

Social Drinks After games
In a more safe post Covid world environment I'd like to encourage get togethers and socials after games so players can bound and make regular games a thing, such as teams and groups to be created.

Mobile app: I would like to be able to see my recurring game.
I do not always play in the games I organise and it's a pain to navigate to the next one. I have a weekly recurring game and I would like to either be easily able to navigate to the page of that recurring game that lists all upcoming instances, or at least a page of "my upcoming games I am organisiing" whether I am playing or not.
